REBRANDING | PACKAGING
CONCEPT
This is a personal rebrand project for Kaori Matcha, aimed at repositioning the brand to appeal to a younger audience. While older consumers already incorporate matcha into their daily rituals, younger generations are still in the discovery phase, exploring global products that fit their evolving tastes and values no matter the culture they are coming from.
The redesign takes a more futuristic and vibrant approach to grab attention in a crowded market. The color palette includes:
Green for the matcha leaves (core product identity)
Purple, symbolizing heritage and high quality in Japanese culture
White to communicate purity and transparency of the product
The new logo introduces a fresher, street inspired feel that resonates more with younger consumers, making the brand feel modern, with unique and memorable identity and energetic without losing its roots.
