CONCEPT

The visual language of the flyer is inspired by the fluidity and continuous motion of skating itself. Layered forms and transparent elements create a sense of flow, reflecting the dynamic nature of movement and the evolving connection between the skater and their environment.

Transparency serves as a conceptual element, symbolizing honesty, self-awareness, and authenticity. It represents the ability to see oneself clearly and to remain true to one's own vision and experience of skating. The design invites viewers to consider performance not only as a physical act, but also as a reflection of the self.

Created for the festival Re:Turn in Berlin, for the workshop “Performance & Self”, the flyer captures the freedom, vulnerability, and constant transformation that characterize both skating and personal expression.
